For the last five years, I have been working for TLDR News, creating podcasts, interviewing politicians, and helping to present General Election livestreams.

Currently, I am the Head of Livestreams & Podcasts and the Lead Writer of TLDR News UK. I often write videos explaining current crises in politics – and while this is mainly focused on the UK – I have also had the opportunity to write about Israel, the US, the European Union, overseas territories and even Antarctica.

Since joining TLDR I have gained experience presenting videos, either those written by myself or my colleagues, and have also hosted and edited previous podcast series. Our shows, including ‘Politics Unpacked’ and ‘Truss Issues’, sought to break down the news with more long form discussion on an irregular basis, whilst my project ‘The Daily Briefing’ offered shorter content five days a week.

On occasion, these podcasts and videos featured political guests, including former co-leader of the Green Party Jonathan Bartley and polling guru Professor Sir John Curtice.

As a result of this work, and the success of TLDR, my colleagues and I were invited to give a presentation at Number 10 Downing Street in 2019 to explain how we were able to reach a younger audience with our political content. We were invited back in May 2023 to be given a press briefing on Prime Minister Sunak’s new anti-fraud plan.

Outside of my work at TLDR News, I have written articles for Chamber UK. I also write the occasional blog post, which can be found here.
